Photos we took on all nine trails in the Bucegi Mountains: forest roads, the Royal Sheepfold meadow, the Cota 1400 viewpoint, the Franz Joseph Rocks, the Baiu Mountains ridge and Bolboci Lake. This is what a guided ATV tour from Sinaia looks like, in every season.

Every photo above was taken by us, on the trails we ride with guests every day. These are not stock images: they are the same forest roads, meadows and viewpoints you will see if you book a tour.
The trails start in Sinaia and climb into the Bucegi and Baiu Mountains. On Calea Codrului and the Forest Road you ride through beech and fir woods on gravel, ideal for beginners. At the Royal Sheepfold you come out into an alpine meadow with open views, and at Cota 1400 you reach the rock formations and the Saint Anne hermitage.
For wider panoramas, the Franz Joseph Rocks tower over the Prahova Valley, while the ridge of the Baiu Mountains gives you the full sweep of the Bucegi. The longest trail, the Ialomița Cave, passes Bolboci Lake and ends at the hermitage carved into the rock.
We ride in every season. Summer on dry tracks and through streams, autumn through the beech forest, winter on snow with adapted gear. All tours are guided, and a helmet, balaclava and gloves are included.
